ADHD Coaching

ADHD coaching for adults across Newfoundland and Labrador, focused on the practical, day-to-day skills that ADHD brains need real support to build: time management, task initiation, follow-through, and the systems that turn intentions into action.

Coaching sits alongside therapy, not in place of it. It's action-oriented, structured, and focused on what you're building rather than what you're processing.

Available virtually anywhere in NL or in person at our St. John's clinic.

How ADHD coaching works

Coaching isn't therapy, and it's not a substitute for treatment. It's a practical partnership for building the skills your ADHD makes harder to develop on your own. Our coaches focus on the areas below, adapted to what you're working on.

How to get started

A free first call

15-minute call to explain what coaching is, what it isn't, and whether it's the right fit for what you're working on.

Match with a coach

Based on the call, we pair you with the coach whose approach fits your goals.

Your first session

50 minutes, virtually or in person, focused on defining the specific outcomes you want to work toward.

Weekly or biweekly

Weekly, biweekly, or on a maintenance schedule once things stabilize. Combined care with an ADHD prescriber is often the most effective long-term setup.

FAQs

How much does ADHD coaching cost per session?

ADHD coaching at Flora Foundations typically runs between $130 and $180 per 50-minute session. Unlike therapy, coaching is not usually covered by extended health insurance, since coaches are not always regulated healthcare providers. That said, some employer wellness spending accounts and Health Spending Accounts do cover coaching, so it's worth checking your specific benefits.

Is ADHD coaching different from ADHD therapy?

Yes. Therapy addresses the underlying emotional, cognitive, and mental health parts of living with ADHD, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and identity work. Coaching is action-oriented and forward-looking, focused on building practical skills and systems. Many clients do both concurrently, since the goals are complementary rather than overlapping.
