Hi, I’m Brittany! I’ve been working as a Registered Social Worker in Newfoundland and Labrador for the past 9 years. I hold a Master of Social Work degree and take a strengths-based, compassionate, and collaborative approach to practice.
My goal is to meet clients where they are and support them in uncovering their own resilience and capacity for growth. Much of my career has focused on working with children and their families, including those experiencing crisis. I enjoy supporting children and parents through challenging times, and I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for the whole family. I have training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), with upcoming training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and play therapy. I integrate these approaches with other evidence-based methods to best meet the needs of each client.
Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, going for walks, reading a good book, and spending time with my family.
I look forward to supporting you in working toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you.
